The Speaker:
Laurence Louer holds degrees in Arabic, philosophy, sociology and political science and a Ph.D. in political science from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (IEP, 2001).. Serves as a permanent consultant for the Policy Planning Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (CAP) since 2004; co-editor-in-chief of Critique internationale since 2006.
Having joined the CERI in 2003, her research focuses on the politics of identity and ethnicity in the Middle East.
